Clothing, toys and school supplies are donated by Rotarians and others. It is cost prohibitive to ship the items to Guatemala, so travelers pack their suit cases and duffel bags to the weight limit allowed by the airlines. Travelers take time out of one of the work days to give out the clothing and other items to the children. Once the children select an item, they are welcome to get back in line to receive another item, until all the items are gone.
Because the children are much smaller than same aged American children, smaller clothing is always needed.
