Lake Atitlan is the location of one of our
2008 projects, a bombaros (fire/paramedic) station
built near the shore of the lake in the community
of San Juan La Laguna. The elevation of the
lake is approximately 5100 feet and the
volcanoes surrounding it reach 10,000 feet.
